2022 BTS Industry-Friendly Research Project (IFRP)

IFRP is a project to support students to develop their creativity and problem-solving ability under the guidance of advisors and industry experts. Participating students are strongly encouraged to perform self- directed research-team activities to resolve technological problems in real industrial fields. *This project is financially supported by a human resource development project funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea.

 

□ 활동방식

ㅇ Conduct self-directed research activities by forming a IFRP team with 1 team leader and 2 to 4 team members (3 to 5 people)

ㅇ Conduct various research activities to solve problems that are closely related to industrial sites (Industry-friendly problem) given through consultation with advisors and industry mentors

ㅇ To develop problem-solving capabilities, record and analyze the process and results of research activities and present the final results

Examples of team composition (Team members consisting of 3-5 undergraduates.)

ㅇ BTS IFRP Team Operating expense: Total 9,500,000~14,000,000 KW/team

Topic application	Any industry-friendly students’ research topic in any of four categories	*the same research topic or the same team with 2021 IFRP team activity	Reflect the topics that raised by industries in Ulsan Metropolitan

* If more than half of the members of the BTS IFRP team in 2021 re-participate in 2022, it will be recognized as the same team.

ㅇ Recognition of credits for research internship in the second semester of undergraduate students (up to 3 credits)

ㅇ Application for dormitory for summer semester is possible (Out of pocket expense)
