The development of battery technology plays a crucial role in advancing electric vehicles and energy storage systems. With Korea’s declining global battery market share, there’s an urgent need for researchers to strengthen future market competitiveness. In a landscape where China dominates the entire cycle, from raw materials to batteries, electric vehicles, and recycling, adopting a more challenging and differentiated strategy becomes imperative for maintaining competitiveness.
This presentation focuses on the development of next-generation batteries using organic materials. Specifically, it explores research on electrolytes aimed at suppressing organic electrode dissolution in batteries. Through this discussion, I aim to broaden the discourse beyond conventional lithium-ion batteries and solid-state batteries, encouraging exploration of various battery systems.
